I’m Jennifer and this is place for me to share my love of all things food-related!.
In the fall of 2012, after lots of research, studying, and recipe comparison, I went on vacation and made macarons! Macarons are French meringue-based confectionery made with egg whites, almond flour, icing sugar, granulated sugar, and food-colouring. These sweet treats are usually filled with chocolate ganache, fruit compotes, or buttercream.
My love (or obsession) of macarons continues and I travelled to Paris in late 2012 and took a macarons cooking class and ate my way around the city, sampling all the famous and local macarons!
